Old Love.

The number of couples divorcing in Singapore is increasing rapidly.
However, these couples who divorced, had choices.
They chose their other halves, but after decades of marriage, they still decided to end it.
Think of our grandparents.
I'm not saying that all of them are blissfully married, but most of them are.
They stick to their partners for life, even when some of them are not married willingly.
They hold on to their oath, "Until death do us part."
They care about their partners, until the day they pass.
Although my grandfather had passed away years ago, my grandmother still visits him.
During the Lunar New Year, birthday and every minor and major festivals.
At his deathbed, he was unwilling to go because he's worried.
Worried that if he's gone, nobody would take good care of his partner, the love of his life..
Until my mother promised to take good care of her.
Even until his last breathe, he worries for her, he still love her so deeply.
And all these, the evidence of love, the unplanned love.
They hold on so tightly.

Boyfriends or husbands nowadays, half of them are not willing to carry the purse of their loved ones.
It is not spoiling the ladies, but all these little actions, are the evidence of love.
The small touch and action that you guys are not willing to give just because you hold your ego so high.
While the girls gets fussy on her boy's work, family, salary, personality, etc.
We should really learn from them, our grand daddy and mummys.
The promise to love.
