baking recipe!

Time line: Prep: 20 mins/ Cook: 15 mins/ Makes:30
Ingredients: 250g self raising flour, 90g dry, shredded coconut, 200g caster sugar, 200g melted butter, approx 60ml milk, half cup fruit jam of choice.

1. Preheat oven at 180 degree celsius. Meanwhile, combine flour, coconut and sugar in a large bowl. Stir in butter and milk. Stir well.

2. Roll level tsp of mixture into balls. Place about 8 cm apart on greased oven trays.

3. Using a floured handle of a wooden spoon, press a hollow in each ball about 1 cm deep and 1.5 cm wide. Drop half tsp jam into each biscuit hollow.

4. Bake in the oven for about fifteen minutes or until lightly browned. Top centers of biscuits with a little jam, if necessary. Cool biscuits on tray.
